Robert B. Goldman is a seasoned trial lawyer with over 30 years’ experience representing clients in litigated matters.
Prior to joining Florida Advocates in 2013 to represent the interests of medical providers in contractual disputes with PIP insurers, Mr. Goldman handled such diverse matters as insurance defense and insurance coverage disputes, litigating partnership and shareholder disputes, probate litigation, representing the Mayor of Delray Beach in a suit to compel disclosure of records under Florida’s Public Records Act, representing commercial landlords in landlord/tenant disputes, defending a “hostile work environment” claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and litigating securities fraud claims.
Mr. Goldman earned MBA and JD degrees from the University of Miami, graduating with honors in both programs. While associated with the Shutts & Bowen law firm, Mr. Goldman received the AV designation from Martindale Hubbell, a testament to Mr. Goldman’s having been ranked at the highest level of professional excellence. Mr. Goldman is a courtroom litigator with well over 100 of his cases resulting in published decisions by the court (including many where the court has adopted his argument as the opinion of the court.
When not practicing law, Mr. Goldman pursues his passions for music (guitar) and wildlife photography.
